Yes the Centre for Academic and Professional Language Practice (CAPLP) may use my writing. CAPLP currently gathers examples of student writing for an electronic collection. Student writing include different kinds of academic writing. The main aim with collecting these texts is to analyse data that will enable them to investigate the academic writing styles of students. In doing so they will be able to identify gaps and needs that will enable them to design solutions to provide more effective support. To improve the focus accuracy and planned interventions resulting from the research I give permission that my academic writing may be used for the research. CAPLP ensures that my data will only be used for data generation and for research purposes; I will not be disadvantaged in any way; my writing and other information will be handled confidentially and kept anonymous; and I will be allowed to withdraw from the study at any point.
